Soft-shell crabs (scylla serrata) also known as Mud Crab / Mangrove Crab / Green Crab / Samoan Crab. These are not a separate species of crab, they’re regular crabs that has just shed its shell. We are specialized in sourcing & exporting soft shell crabs. Our skilled workers are processing Crabs and closely monitoring them so they’re shipped at the exact ideal point of their shedding.

This Soft Shell Crabs is one of the most popular seafood among consumers for its meatiness, distinctively sweet, moist and firm flesh and attractiveness in seafood dishes and platters. As the new shell hasn’t yet formed, the crab is soft and can be eaten in its entirety. Soft-shell crabs are best eaten golden and crisp or sauteed and has a medium to strong flavor.

Soft shells are any crab that has molted within the last 12 hours. During that time the shells are soft and papery, so they can be eaten whole, claw to claw. This type of Crab meat is quite tender and soft. It is also light, sweet, and salty. That is why it has a more unique flavor than most other meats you eat regularly. Makes for a delicious day any day of the week. It is low in fat and calories as well as cholesterol and carbohydrates. Crab is a very source of protein and a moderate source of omega-3 fatty acids.

We exports live mud crabs that are grown mainly in the southern part of Bangladesh. All crabs are wild caught, grown without use of antibiotic or chemicals. Fresh fish are given as feed, naturally molted (we don’t cut the crabs legs to molt like Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. “Medan style” for make shorter time to molt, these soft shell crab do not have meat) organic production.

They are some species of crabs available in Bangladesh that are suitable for commercial production. Among them two species of crabs are very popular, they are red claw and green mud crab. Soft Shell Mud crab farming is very popular in some Asian countries like Bangladesh.
